Each and every year there are hot new styles in all areas of women’s fashion.  There are women’s shirts, sweater, jackets, and then there are skirts, pants, swimwear, and footwear.  Women’s shoes and sandals are coming out with hot new styles all of the time and it can sometimes be hard to keep up on the trends.

One trend that has become popular and remained popular over the last few years is gladiator sandals.  These sandals that borrow their style from the ancient Roman gladiators, come in all shapes, sizes and there are even so many variations within this style that women look for when buying shoes.  Celebrities have been seen wearing them for the last few years during spring and summer red carpet events.

They come in many colors, but black and brown are definitely some of the most popular colors because they can go with a lot of outfits.  There are different variations of browns in the different sandals from different makers.  Gold and silver gladiator sandals are also pretty popular.  You can get sandals that come in green, orange, and even hot pink!  No matter what kind of outfit or dress you are wearing while the weather is nicer, you can probably find a pair of gladiator sandals that match that outfit just perfectly.

Many top shoe designers have their own line of gladiator sandals.  Steve Madden has a very popular line of sandals as does Nine West.  Miss Me, Guess, and Stuart Weitzman all have popular gladiator sandals in their fashion lines.

Because they have that classic style and look to them, they definitely won’t be going out of style anytime soon.  The different styles range widely, but they are all based around using a lot of straps, having a lot of parts where the foot is exposes, and buckles or zippers to hold the straps in place.
