One of the biggest myths about ghosts is that all ghosts are evil. Ghosts are said to be the spirits of human beings, this is both true and not at the same time. Since most ghost videos show an apparition or a shadow who is to say that all ghosts are those of humans? Ghosts like everything else in life cannot be classified as all evil, there are good ones, bad ones, and those that are just there that do not even realize they are dead.  While I am not saying that there are not evil spirits I think when it comes to the ghosts of humans they are what they were in life, just in a different form

Another myth is that all ghosts are that of human beings, there are ghosts out there that have never had human form, and they are called elementals. To the best of my knowledge there has never been an elemental ghost sighting caught on tape. Elemental ghost are said to be scarier than the ghosts of humans because they can affect the physical world. Most evil ghosts are thought to be demons, now some people believe that demons are the spirits of the angels that fell from Heaven with Lucifer. If this is correct then demons have never had a human form either, even though they are said to appear as humans in some cases, these beings would be classified as pure energy because they were never born to a human body. There are many videos of ghost and demons on the internet some of reported exorcisms like that of Anneliese Michel.

It is believed that ghosts are always non- corporeal beings, while most of the times this is true, it like most things is not a definite. Some people believe that ghost can materialize if they are surrounded by enough energy. There are even some people that believe that if a ghost is old enough it can collect and store energy for periods of time.  Since there are videos of ghosts on the internet and on television that show some ghosts that are solid enough to pass for being alive, this theory does have some merit.

Another myth is that ghosts can harm you; this is another myth that is both false and true at the same time. Most ghosts do not have enough energy to manifest and have the ability to move things in the physical world. Yes there is the occasional knocking or shutting of a door but for the most part, the most a ghost can do to harm you is mentally. Most ghost video clips will show an apparition but mainly doing minor physical things, like closing a door or making noises.

People that do not believe in ghosts have been known to see them; of course after seeing them it would be logical to assume that most of those people are then believers. The ability to see ghosts is not based on belief it is more of a physical gift. If you think of yourself as a receiver, like all radios, some are able to tune into some radio stations better than others. People are the same way some of us are more in tune with the supernatural than others. If you show two people the same ghost video caught on tape it is more than likely that one person will see more than the other person, or at the least different than what the other person saw, due to the fact that they are more in tune with what they are watching.
