The Perfect Thailand Honeymoon For You And Your Loved One

After all of the hard work of preparing the wedding, newlyweds want nothing more than to find a far off place and spend a few days caught up in the joys of their new marriage. A Thailand Honeymoon is the perfect place to do just that and will ensure that you have a honeymoon that you will never forget.

The great thing about honeymooning in Thailand is the fact it offers so much more than romantic beaches and sun-swept mountains. There are a range of sites to see in this beautiful country and you will find it difficult to run out of exotic and fascinating locations to explore with your loved one.

You can find a variety of honeymooning packages which will ensure that your holiday is whatever you decide it should be. Depending on the package you choose you could be spending your holiday sipping cocktails in one of the many resorts or you could be exploring the many holy sites that the area has to offer.

Shopping is a favorite activity among brides around the world and here you can experience it like never before. Shop for brands in any one of the many stores around the country or choose from one of the equally abundant antique stores but you are sure to find exactly what you are looking for here.

Another way to relax and enjoy your special time together is to spend a day at one of the many spas in the area and pamper yourself and your loved one to a massage, facial or nail treatment. There are so many ways to enjoy your holiday that it might be difficult to fit it all in before it is time to leave again.

Thailand is the perfect honeymooning getaway and whether you are interested in an action packed adventure or simply a soothing holiday, you will be sure to find it in this great country.

Sightseeing At Pattaya’s Floating Market

Thailand is known as the Venice of the East due to it’s large canal system.  Long before a major road infrastructure was implemented, the major means of transportation around Bangkok was the rivers and man made canals.  Towns and homes were based on these inland waterways as was city life and travel.  Floating markets were a common sight at one time in Thailand’s history, and only a few of them are left around today.

If you venture outside of Bangkok and travel to Pattaya you will find a replica of a traditional Thai floating market.  Just recently opened in November of 2008, this wonderful tourist attraction gives a glimpse into Thailand’s past as well as views of Thai culture from around the country.

One thing that stands out at the Pattaya Floating Market is the buildings and architecture.  The buildings are crafted in the traditional designs of the four regions of Thailand.  Each house sits on a man made canal.  Visitors can either walk along the boardwalk and bridges as the explore the different areas or they can take a short boat trip down the waterway to get a much more traditional experience.

There are also a lot more on offer at the park.  You will find all types of cultural activities on display.  There are performances throughout the day where you experience more of the diverse Thai culture from the four regions.  Traditional Thai and Bangkokian Dance, and my favorite the coconut shell dance.

If you are looking to pick up a souvenir from your trip to Thailand this is a great place to browse around and do some shopping.  There are many stores selling traditional handmade craft including Thai Silk, herbs, and wood carvings.  This is the real deal, none of the mass produced junk you would get from one of the street vendors.

The park is open everyday and well worth the cost of admission.  This is sure to become one of the more popular stops for sightseeing in Pattaya.
