When it comes to decorating the house, I’m quite picky about what goes on my house. Color is important when you want to add a lighting effect to your home. You can get an illuminating affect if you use a lot of bright colors. A crucial part in all this design is the lighting that comes from the sun. Whether you’re renovating your home or patio, a patio curtain or blind will help control the amount of lighting you will need.

A patio blind is one of my favorite types of items use to bring in the perfect lighting you will need. Using the horizontal blinds is my favorite because the upward closing position cast a different type of lighting than the downward closing position. If I want a darker look in my room, I would use the downward closing position. Each window in the house would use different types of blinds. The glass sliding door would use the vertical blinds because of the length. It is much easier to fully open the blinds by pushing it to the side than pulling it up.

A patio curtain is great for completely covering the sunlight. A lot of times when I know there are going to be a high temperature day; I try to cover up as much sunlight as I can prior to sunrise. I find the house or patio to be a lot cooler when not much sunlight is allowed to pass through. The curtains are really good for getting rid of sunlight. I really love both the blinds and curtains for different purposes, so I utilize both of them.

The fabric material on both curtains and blinds are my all time favorite. I like to decorate my house along with the seasons. With different sets of curtains with different design and color, I can easily switch my curtains out for a whole different look. I like to have my house design differently for guest to see because the same old look can get quite boring.
