If your home entertainment system consists of a DVD player, Blue-ray player, cable or satellite box, surround sound stereo, and one or more video game consoles then you may want to consider picking up a Logitech Harmony advanced remote control. The Logitech Harmony line of remotes are some of the best in the market and will immediately change the way you experience home entertainment. Last year when I picked up my Logitech Harmony One we were able to consolidate up to fifteen different devices into just the one remote. All the clutter that was laying around my living room was immediately replaced with just one thing. It’s truly amazing how we did it.

I suggest Amazon purely based on their superior customer service and speed of delivery. I bought my Logitech Harmony online and received it only three business days later thanks to Amazon.

The device we ended up with is the Logitech Harmony One. It features fifteen multiple device controls at once, has a color display, touch screen, and interactive help system which makes it easy to understand. The backlit buttons and recharging station were other features that my family truly enjoyed. I was able to save time and money by having just one universal remote that did so many different things.

I’ll never get rid of my Logitech Harmony One. You’ll literally have to pry it from my hands for me to give it up. When I’m sitting at the couch, I control the remote. The Logitech Harmony One has given me the power to dictate to the family what we’re going to experience in form of entertainment.

Logitech Harmony Will Create Harmony Among all your Electronic Components

Beginning in 1981, Logitech began designing and manufacturing the computer mouse, a fairly new technology at the time. They continually reinvented the mouse to suit the needs of PC and laptop users. They have since expanded their base to include personal peripherals that are the links between you and your electronic devices. The cornerstone of Logitech is innovation and quality in order for the consumer to enjoy a better experience with the digital world.

Logitech is a leader in innovation that encompasses a wide variety of interface devices both corded and cordless with an emphasis on PC navigation, gaming, Internet communication, digital music and home entertainment control.

In 2001, Logitech Harmony created a handheld remote for the purpose of controlling all electronic devices with one, Logitech universal remote. A Logitech Harmony remote can control as many as 15 individual devices, depending on the model, instead of using a separate remote for each component. Devices may include but not be limited to televisions, cable, stereo, DVD players, Xbox, Play Station and a variety of others. The universal remote made switching from one component to another easy and convenient with one remote. The drawback to using only one remote is if you lose it, you have lost the controlling power for all.

Programming your remote will require an Internet access. You will have to set up an account at the Logitech web page before you can proceed. After you program your Logitech Harmony remote software, all the information will be saved in your account. You will also need to download the remote software for the remote you own. After the software is downloaded, you will add the information for the components you own by clicking on the device tab. Click on “Add Device” for each component  you own until all the data for  all your devices are present. Click the “Done” button and all the information will be saved in your account.

Connect the computer  to your remote with a USB cable and click on “Update Remote.” Your settings will be transferred to your remote. Test out your remote to make sure each device works and away you go.
