Few days back I asked one of my teacher friends that what was the biggest achievement or obstacle he felt in his teaching career. His answer was very interesting. He said each year he meet new students and new types in them. Few of them are very unresponsive in everything and that’s the obstacles in his teaching life but when he works on them and gets them out of their state and helps them achieve something good that becomes his achievement for that year. I wonder this is the reason we celebrate the teacher’s day.
Reasons for the students wrong behaviors:
Students or kids are not of the wrong nature in themselves but the conditions make them behave wrong. There can be many reasons for the kids behavior but the main are two only , the family problem and lack of confidence. We will discuss about each one;
1) Lack of confidence: Confidence is the key to success; let it be small kids life or the adults career. Many kids find themselves shy in nature because they lack the confidence. It’s very natural because the confidence many times comes with the growing age. Unfortunately this initial lack of confidence can lead to the slow learning or the study problems in the school years. Here teacher needs to be giving special attention to these kids and improve their confidence in general. This will greatly help them in their adult life.
2) Family Problems: Who don’t have family problems? Everybody have and everyone share them with someone or somehow but what about the small innocent kids who even don’t know about whom to trust? This puts them in very bad situation and many times they don’t find anyone to talk to and become shy or over-reactive. Here teacher can be a good listener to them and solve their problems.
