Spend Less on the Movies you Love
A single trip to the movies doesn’t work out particularly expensive for the average person – when you add up everything you spend however, in a full year you have easily spent more than $500! The Internet has pushed the boundaries for the movie watching public all over the world, and what’s been happening is great for us movie lovers, but what online movie deals are the cheapest? What’s best for me might not be what’s best for you so that’s a touch question to give a straight answer to, for example, I like to watch free movie downloads because I get lots of movies for little money, my brother likes to buy movies because he wants to build a big collection. It doesn’t really matter what kind of movie watcher you are though, because there are deals out there for everyone.
Buying your Movies – Some people like to own the movies they watch and build up a collection of DVD’s over the years. This is without doubt the most expensive way to watch a movie, but if that’s your thing then great. A new DVD bought from a specialist retailer will cost you between $15 and $20 at least, however, if you are prepared to do a little work, you can find them at bargain prices on websites such as eBay and Amazon. I don’t buy that many DVD’s, but I have won some great titles on eBay for just 99 cents before now.
Get Your Movies on Demand
It’s been quite some time since I got a movie any other way then via the movies on demand system I subscribe to. Earlier today I was able to download The Town online for free plus three other newly released movies. I used to go to the movies at least once a week before joining this type of service, so it is not only taking all the hassle out of going to the movies, but it’s also saving me many hundreds of dollars each year. The service isn’t entirely free, I spent $89 on my membership, but it’s a one-off charge and after that I have nothing to pay EVER. My membership allows me to choose any movie I want, and watch it on my computer or television (depending on my setup).
