The problem is that whatever temporary method you use, you will have to deal with regrowth and until you do the unwanted hair will be obvious on your face. The best thing is to get rid of the hair permanently so you never have to think about it again.

When you start looking at options for permanent facial hair removal, you will quickly realize that there are only two genuine methods on offer – laser hair removal and electrolysis. Each have their good points as well as a number of drawbacks but at least one of these methods will help you.

Laser hair removal for the face is fast and you can have your whole face treated in a matter of a few minutes. You will need a few sessions however over a number of months to treat any hairs which are not killed by the laser at each stage. Unfortunately laser hair removal is not suitable for everyone as it does not work on red, blond or gray hair and it is more difficult and less effective on dark skin. Also, there are usually a few hairs which refuse to be killed so although you will get a permanent reduction in hair growth in most cases, you may be left with some regrowth.

If you want rid of all the unwanted hair on your face for good, it is better to choose electrolysis as your hair removal method. This is a long process where you will have many short sessions of five to fifteen minutes over a number of months. Each hair is treated individually and will eventually be killed (perhaps after several treatments). The treatment is a little painful but it is well worth it to get rid of the problem forever. Electrolysis is proven to work no matter what color your hair or skin is and you can be sure the hair will not grow back.
