Nikon Digital Camera Choices

How To Buy a Nikon Digital Point and Shoot Camera in 2010

When shopping for a Nikon Digital Camera it is imperative that you specify your shooting needs before you go and spend a lot of money on a digital camera this summer.

One factor to consider when digital camera shopping is how much you would like to spend on a digital camera. You can buy a digital camera for under $100 and if you just need a simple point and shoot from Nikon like the Nikon Coolpix L22 then you have saved yourself a lot of money if a simple point and shoot will meet your summer photography needs.

But if you wish to explore different focal points, or exposure setting or require more durability than you might be better off spending more money and buying a digital SLR like the Nikon D90 which offers the flexiblity and low light performance of it’s bigger brothers but also is one of the few digital SLR cameras that can shoot high definition video as well. The Nikon D90 is not much more in size than a compact camera but offer s much more flexibility when shooting your fun this summer.

Lastly, the Nikon P100 is a bridge type digital camera that offers the best of both worlds. You get a fantastic zoom lens that will zoom out 26x from wide angle to super telephoto settings at 670mm all in one small package that you do not have to carry extra lenses and accesories but the bridge format offers much more flexibility than a standard digital camera could offer.

Whatever digital camera from Nikon you choose this summer, all three of the Nikon Cameras mentioned above are fantastic digital cameras for every budget and you will be happy with whatever you choose for years to come.
