John Deere Martin Bird House

When you think of the company John Deere, you probably recall their vast line of consumer and industrial tractors. Their heavy machinery has become so popular in the world that countless licensed products have been crafted to meet the demand of John Deere fans. These items range from safety glasses and earplugs to coasters and car mats. One quite interesting addition to John Deere’s licensed line is the Martin Bird House. While a bird house is about as far away from machinery as you can get, products like these are very popular among John Deere fans. The company has worked with a manufacturer based in the USA to craft this bright yellow/green birdhouse designed to house Purple Martins.

First look at this birdhouse and you will realize that there isn’t anything else like this on the market. The bright and bold colors attract Purple Martins and other birds for you and your family to observe. Place the house in a tree or hang it on a hook and birds will take to it with delight. Since John Deere deals in farm equipment, they decided to craft the birdhouse in the image of a barn. The barn style house features two different levels in which birds can enter.
On each level is a series of three doors where small birds like the Purple Martin can enter and make a nest. Inside, the birds are protected from the weather and predators by the sturdy co-polymer walls and roof. The roof is curved to allow rainwater to slide off harmlessly. Perches on the ends and top of the unit allow birds a place to stand a watch their surroundings. Birds will often sit on these perches in the early morning and sing beautiful songs for all to hear. A side door allows users to open the birdhouse up to clean it.
