Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with different shapes and figures and also deals with points, lines, angles, rays and line segments and their definitions and different relationships. Elementary geometry is easier than high school geometry because elementary geometry is more on definition and identification of different geometric figures, shapes and components while geometry for high school students on the other hand is more complicated since it deals with more complex mathematical ideas. But before moving on to advanced mathematics, it is important to first learn the basics since they are the fundamental ideas important in understanding the higher concepts of math. Learning the different basic mathematical terms and definitions is necessary since they will be repetitively used even in advanced mathematical subject. For example, you need to be able to determine the definition of each polygon to be able to identify them. Aside from that, you need to be able to identify different geometric relationships even easy one. Let’s take lines for example.

In geometry, there are two types of lines: the parallel lines and the perpendicular lines. Parallel lines are two lines on the same plane that never intersect. You can extend both lines infinitely and they will never ever meet at one point. These two lines are equidistant to each other no matter how far you might extend them. Pependicular lines on the other hand are two lines that intersect at one point, creating a right angle. Two lines cannot be considered perpendicular if they don’t create a 90 degrees angle (or right angle), even if they do intersect at any point.

These terms are very important to remember since most math problems involve using them. So of by any chance you come upon a word problem that says perpendicular lines, then you automatically know that it means that both lines meet at one point creating a 90 degrees angle.

Air mattresses are a relatively new innovation. They are lightweight and portable, they are comfortable, and they are neither too warm nor too cool to sleep on. They seem so perfect, one wonders if a relatively older mattress technology like the memory foam mattress pad is now obsolete.

Obviously, someone who already has a memory foam pad and is happy with it has no reason to change his bed. But there are many people for whom memory foam toppers have too much problems. For example, there are those who cannot stand the smell of memory foam, and there are those who find the memory foam topper pad too warm to sleep on. Is the air mattress a viable alternative for them?

In general, no. Air mattress technology is not ready for prime time yet. Even the best quality air mattresses leaks air. Cheap, $50 air mattresses will become soft overnight. Worse still, their condition rapidly deteriorates. Over the course of one month, most will leak faster and faster, even becoming completely soft before the night ends.

Good quality air beds exist. They have double or triple walls, and even internal baffles to minimize air leakage. Unfortunately, they are usually quite expensive and usually cost hundreds of dollars. Even then, their lifespan is still rather poor in comparison with more established technologies. Memory foam mattress pads and traditional inner spring mattresses can last upwards of a decade without losing their effectiveness. An inflatable air mattress, no matter how good, cannot last that long. There is definitely no way it is superior to a memory foam topper on this count.

One of the biggest problems with air beds is the constant need to refill them. Some come with electric pumps, others come with manual pumps. Manually pumping up an inflatable air bed is exhausting business. This makes an electric-powered air pump very desirable. Unfortunately, these powered pumps are noisy. You cannot operate them at night, otherwise your neighbors are going to come and pound on your door. If you forget to pump up your bed in the day-time, you will have to endure sleeping on a half-flat air mattress, which is not going to help your sleep. This is a problem which older bedding technologies like memory foam toppers do not have.

The air bed is still too young to replace the memory foam mattress pad. For regular use, there is still nothing that beats memory foam toppers for price, comfort and lifespan.

Sleep talking is common to all. Everyone knows about this but does not know what causes this sleep talk and what could be the treatments that can be given to stop sleep talking. Though sleep talk may occur weird and puzzling, this does not need treatments. Asbestos was originally hailed as a miracle mineral that could withstand high heat, intense weather, and sea travel. This natural occurring mineral was used in most buildings up until the 1980s. As a result a lot of people live in homes and work in buildings containing asbestos. Lawsuits surrounding asbestos injuries put many large companies out of business. These companies failed to inform and protect their workers even though they had medical data that showed asbestos caused asbestosis, desmoplastic mesothelioma, and other forms of cancer. The dangers of asbestos became known because of insurance companies refusal to insure workers who worked around asbestos. The data collected showed many people in asbestos jobs contracting the same illness. This put asbestos workers at high risk, as a result they were denied coverage.

Hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers have died due to asbestos exposure. Historically jobs that worked with asbestos were plumbing, construction, shipping, and railways. A new asbestos exposure occurred nearly a decade ago that exposed one of the wealthiest cities in the world. When the World Trade Center came crashing down on 9/11 a cloud of asbestos dust filled the air of Manhattan. Home to Wall Street, politicians, actors and some of the wealthiest people in the world. Victims of this tragedy are still looking for justice. Many volunteers have passed away due to their service in cleaning the area of Manhattan with no compensation.

Today, it seems like so many inspirational hip hop artists are getting locked up in prison for too long. Being kept away from their dedicated fans and the studio, they are never forgotten, but are not there to continue their inspiration and share their art with others. Everyone has to pay for their mistakes, and if you do something wrong enough times, it will eventually catch up to you if not sooner than later. I don’t mean to promote the idea here that Asian woman are substantially different to other women. Having made that clear; there is a certain cultural background that comes with being Asian. Women are not immune to this baggage. There are many generalities that can be said about this group.

Remember please that I will be speaking in generalities. I am the first to acknowledge the varied languages, geographic origins, culture and customs of the different peoples that compose what we call Asian. To be fair the definition for Asian here, is that of someone who lives or has heritage that originated in the Asian continent. That is a whole lot of sea and land, and there is much variety in it. Another thing to bear in mind is that I will be using our American guidelines as a benchmark to compare.

Family: In general the Asian woman and her relationships are highly influenced by her family. When courting Asian women it is necessary to broaden the scope of our exercise to their family. Establishing a good relationship with them is key to moving the relationship forward.

Intimacy: Women in Asian cultures are more conservative when it comes to intimacy or sex. You would be well served by taking it slow. In some cultures you might even have to wait until marriage and even then the subject might be considered as “sensitive”. This varies within Asian cultures but in general, patience is a good word to watch.

Communication: in Asia in general actions speak louder than words. So it happens in relationships. Women are not as prone to externalize their feelings as in the relationships we might be used to. The relationship building process is a slow one that hinges upon mutual respect.

Duty: Once an Asian woman is committed there is a sense of duty to her partner that is much stronger than in the relationships we might be used to. This is a double edged sword for men because it puts the onus of trying to keep their partner happy more squarely in their court.
